The Assessment Division is a part of the Finance Department. The Tax Assessor's office is responsible for the valuation of all property in town. The office also is responsible for the recording and maintenance of all personal exemptions available to taxpayers.
Revaluations: Statistical property revaluations are completed every three years, with a full revaluation done every nine years. The last full revaluation was completed on December 31, 2014. The last statistical revaluation was completed on December 31, 2020 for the upcoming 2021 Tax Billing.
