Opening day of fishing is this weekend, Saturday, April 13th and RI Department of Environmental Management will be stocking Frenchtown Park pond. New this year Frenchtown Park Pond is included in the Golden Trout Fish Pin Contest (one of 16 sites around the state). Visit the DEM website for more information on the contest. Information on obtaining a RI Fishing license can be found on the DEM site as well.
