The sign up for Notify Me requires an email address. You can also select the option to receive a text message - click the mail or phone icon next to the listed items to make your selection. The suggested selection for important Town messages would be Town of East Greenwich Newsletter (distributed less frequently but with cumulative information) and News Flash - Home - News & Announcements (items added to the home page with immediate distribution).

The Code Red web page allows you to create a managed account to customize the types of notifications you receive and add additional addresses. The base information is provided to the Town via the e911 statewide system. Code Red notifications are directed to phone numbers.

Town Council meetings are live-streamed in real time. From the Home Page, click on the radial button to the right “Council Agendas/Minutes/Videos”. The current meeting should be listed at the top. When the meeting goes live, a link will appear under the Events column which will open the video. Video of past meetings is available under the Video column on the page.
