[ARCHIVED] Emergency Winter Storm Alert

This is a Town of East Greenwich Emergency Winter Storm Aler

Due to the severity of the impending winter storm, all residents and businesses are requested to take early precautions and plan in advance as we are anticipating between 8-12 inches of snow to fall between 7:00 pm this evening through approximately noon tomorrow.  

A parking ban has been issued and will be strictly enforced from 9 PM this evening Wednesday through 6 PM Thursday to allow for roads and sidewalks to be maintained and cleared during and after the event.  

All Trash pickup services scheduled for Thursday and Friday, will be delayed by one day, 

All essential Town services will remain active, although due to the timing and travel of the storm, all municipal buildings will have a delayed opening on Thursday, at 1:00pm.  allowing for safe access to these buildings and parking to be made available. These public buildings will close at their normal scheduled time at 4:30pm.  

Please plan ahead for any of your personal or business needs scheduled for Thursday as travel in town and around the state will be challenging and at times dangerous.
