The OMA violations that stemmed from meetings held last summer do not have a financial impact on the Town, as the Attorney General determined the violations were not intentional or willful, however, the Town Council should have been more deliberate in posting more precise language on those agendas.
This Town Council is committed to adhering to the Open Meetings Act and we appreciate the Attorney General’s office thoughtful consideration of this matter.
