Land Evidence 

The Town Clerk's office is responsible for recording all deed, mortgages, liens, releases, etc. pertaining to property located in the Town of East Greenwich.

Documents & Recordings

All documents presented for recording must be an original or a certified copy. When sending documents by mail please include a self-addressed stamped envelope to return the originals to you. Recording for the day ends at 4 p.m. and the office is located in:

The Land Evidence recording requirements and fees are provided below.  You may request copies of specific documents by filling out the Request for Copies Form and submitting it to the Clerk's office.

Internet access to land records is temporarily provided during the period of time that access to the Town Clerk's office is restricted due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
