East Greenwich residents are given preference in all programs. Non-residents may submit a registration form during the registration period (without payment.) Non-residents are placed on the wait list. As the class date draws near and if there is adequate room in a program you will receive a phone call offering you an available space; at this time payment is required. (East Greenwich residents are those residing within the cooperate boundaries of the Town. Proof of residency may be required (registered voter, car registered in Town, child eligible to enroll in EG Public Schools, renter's agreement at an EG home.))
East Greenwich mooring holders are given preference to reserve a dinghy rack space, which is done during the annual renewal period in March. After the renewal period, any available space is offered to non-mooring holders. Interested individuals must complete a dinghy rack form and submit it to the Parks & Recreation office beginning in February. (See the Dinghy Rack Rules.)
The Parks & Recreation Office maintains the mooring permits and wait list for a mooring on the western side of Greenwich Cove. If you would like to be placed on the wait list, you must fill out the Mooring Wait List Application and submit it along with the application fee to the Parks & Recreation Office. After the renewal period in March, available mooring permits will be issued to those on the wait list. Your name remains on the wait list until you are offered a mooring. There are resident, non-resident and commercial mooring permits. The City of Warwick manages the moorings on the eastern side (Goddard Park side) of the Cove.

The online registration closes shortly before classes begin so the office can prepare enrollment rosters for instructors. After the roster has been printed you can no longer sign up online and must come to the office to sign up for available spaces. If a class is full you can put your name on the wait list through the online registration software.
